The con went well.  I'm tired, but I sold two prints at the table (Han Solo, a Doctor Who), gave a Jack Harkness away to a Jack Harkness, sold three pieces in the art show (two Doctor Whos and a William Shatner I don't have on DA), and most proudly, I sold my only poster--a 20x30 of the Doctor with 3-D glasses ([link])--before the dealer's floor even opened.  I was able to keep it on display all weekend, and someone saw it and Pinned it on Pinterest!  I am so honored, I've never been pinned before!  Thank you, Nicole, whoever you are!

My partner in grime Illusioner also sold three prints in absentia--8x10s of Major Cache (new last year) and a harlequin named Jacqui (new this year), and an 11x14 called Nightworld that I accidentally renamed Night Watch (an old piece, but new to cons).

I came home with three pins by Beck Seashols and assorted prints by numerous artists; I'm drawing a blank on all the names right now except Sarah Clemens ([link] html).  My Magnus and Loki collection grew by two, Vitruvian and Hombres.  Magnus and Loki are like Pokemon to me, gotta catch 'em all.

Hi there. I like Things. Especially Things that make messes, like ink, paint, scissors, clay and wax. I like Things that don't normally go with other Things, but when they meet create Art anyway--like watch parts and hot glue.

I can't draw. I can put things together kind of nice, though, so maybe I'm more of a designer than artist. Or I'm an assembler. Is that a thing? I know I'm an arts and craftster. That's where all those wonderful clothing-ruining things come in. Most of my hands-on art includes at least one rubber stamp, and a healthy dose of ink. But after years of mostly doing things that clutter up the desk, I'm moving into the digital realm and am madly in love with Illustrator, but I don't consider my digital work art so much as design, composition or "practice."

I spend most of my time volunteering, studying up, working, surfing the net, cleaning, driving around, or making my friends wonder why they put up with me. When I'm done with all that, I game, read, stare at a screen or make stuff. I have an affection for llamas that predates DA by many years, even if most of them are snooty, spitty, unkempt creatures. I love them anyway. I want to hug them all, ALL THE LLAMAS.
